here are some equations which have produced excellent results in the educational centers of the Legion of Good Will (LGW). The educators develop a differentiated work with babies, children and teenagers, inspired on the Ecumenical Citizen Pedagogy (ECP), established by Paiva Netto. With this, the teachers provide to the students - besides the intellectual development - a greater experience of the ethical values and of Ecumenical Spirituality in their communities.

urthermore, the President of the LGW, José de Paiva Netto, for decades has been advising the professionals in the area of education to the urgent need to transmit to the students the orientations that are indispensable so that society overcomes its constant challenges. The Learning Method through Rational-Emotional-Intuitive Research (MAPREI), of the LGW’s educational network – methodology that applies the Ecumenical Citizen Pedagogy (ECP) –, emerges as an alternative to the immense challenge to form more fraternal citizens, which does not mean to say: unprepared to face a world full of violence.
"It is a differentiated proposal based on research and that uses intuition as one of the instruments so that the student understands the themes proposed in the classroom”, explains Luciana Cintra Teixeira, principal of the José de Paiva Netto Educational Institute, located in the central region of São Paulo/SP, Brazil. To adapt this language to the teachers’ lessons, training courses coordinated by the LGW’s team of educators are carried out in each educati

The Learning Method through Rational-Emotional-Intuitive Research of the Legion of Good Will can be applied to all ages, and it does not see the student only as a receiver of information. Thus, the student really becomes an integrating part of the learning process. It is also common in this method the integration of the family in the child’s scholastic life. For the pedagogical coordinating assistant of the school, Marcelo Rafael, the reason to base the teaching on ethical and spiritual values occurs "because it is a method that has as principle the formation of the Human Being and his/her Eternal Soul”. He affirms that in the educational centers of the LGW the student is considered "a biopsychosocial spirit, bringing with him/her prior experiences that can, in many times, contribute i

n this process”.
In the proposal of this revolutionary form of teaching, its proclaimer also defines: "Education, when done properly, sets free. And, with Ecumenical Spirituality, sublimates”. Regarding one of the agents in this process of teaching and learning, the president of the Organization affirms that "the youth is the future in the present. Let us believe in them, like Saint Francis of Assisi did, who is the Patron of the LGW, founded by the late Alziro Zarur!”. This affirmation expresses the culture of respect and care for the new generations, promoted by the Legion of Good Will since its foundation, for more than 59 years.
